The library has resumed normal hours and will reopen at 9 A.M. on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The Oct. 30 Friends of the Library book review has been cancelled. There will be no preschool storytime today, because the UE schools are closed.

The Library has just received notice from Assemblywoman Lupardo’s office that we have been awarded $6,496 under the New York State Public Library Construction grant program to install a much-needed heating/cooling unit in our staff area.  Much thanks to the Assemblywoman for her continued and long-standing support of public libraries.

The GFJ Friends of the Library are excited to welcome local author Jennifer D. Bokal​ to the library on Tuesday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. Jen will be presenting and discussing her new book, The Gladiator’s Mistress. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
