GFJ has started digitizing parts of its collections. We started with old local newspapers, a treasure trove of local history and genealogy. The collection will eventually be expanded, but 1855-1915 issues are now available at: www.endicott.advantage-preservation.com
Amazon Kindle to be compatible with library Overdrive service
Amazon has announced that its popular Kindle e-reader will soon be compatible with GFJ’s Overdrive downloadable e-book service. The service already works with many popular devices, including the Barnes & Noble Nook, Apple’s iPad, and many others. The Overdrive service also features free downloadable audiobooks. Highland Park Winter Blast
The Highland Park Winter Blast has been changed to Saturday, January 29th! Stop by from 2:00 to 6:00 for a story, scavenger hunt, ice skating, snowman contest, ride the carousel, and more!
Restroom Renovations
Main floor restrooms will be undergoing renovation and unavailable from December 13 until well into January. A unisex restroom will be available on the second floor. Facilities are also available at the Municipal and Police buildings, across the street from the library. Access to the adult audiovisual collection will also be limited during the week…
