Employment Opportunity – Cleaner Position

The library is looking for a part-time employee to clean the library.  Duties include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, light snow shoveling.  Fifteen to nineteen hours per week with alternating Saturdays, early morning shifts 6 to 10 AM or 7 to 11 AM.  Pay is $8.50 per hour.  Position is 3-month temporary, possible permanent appointment.  Applications available at the library or can be downloaded at:

Roxy Visits

Longtime GFJ employee Jim “Par” Panella passed away suddenly this week.  His buddy “Roxy”, a familiar face at the library,  came by for a visit today. Roxy is now living with Jim’s sister-in-law. Everyone at GFJ deeply misses them both.

Restroom Renovations

Main floor restrooms will be undergoing renovation and unavailable from December 13 until well into January.  A unisex restroom will be available on the second floor.  Facilities are also available at the Municipal and Police buildings, across the street from the library.  Access to the adult audiovisual collection will also be limited during the week…
