The PCC is happy to welcome back the Two Rivers Photography Club! On Monday October 22 and 29 they will be leading a workshop on editing digital photos from 9:30- 11:30am. The new children’s room carpet has been installed! We are working to get everything back into place. The children’s room will reopen tomorrow, Thursday 4/30 at 9:00 AM. Access to some portions of the collection will still be limited. We appreciate your continued patience as we complete this project!

Amazon has announced that its popular Kindle e-reader will soon be compatible with GFJ’s Overdrive downloadable e-book service.  The service already works with many popular devices, including the Barnes & Noble Nook, Apple’s iPad, and many others.  The Overdrive service also features free downloadable audiobooks.   Click here to get started!

This year’s raffle quilt is on display: “French Romance” by quilt artists Carol Bunnell and Sandy Minehan. Tickets are a dollar apiece or six for five dollars and proceeds go to support children’s programs here at GFJ. The drawing will be held September 11. Other quilts, some for sale, will be on display soon.

Health Insurance at GFJ: One final session on Monday, March 31 from 9 AM till 4 PM for anyone wanting to do a last-minute enrollment in health insurance before penalties kick in (or before you get sick and need it!).
