The Book Sale for Friday January 3 has been cancelled due to weather.

Just a reminder that the library will be closed on Friday, January 25th due to the replacement of our heating and air conditioning system. We plan to reopen at 9:00am on Saturday 1/26. However, please call or check the website before visiting as a delay in construction could prevent our opening on this day.

Despite a miserable economy, the March 15, 2010 issue of Library Journal reports that 84% of library funding referenda passed in 2009.  For New York State, the figure was 100%.

An overdue note of thanks to Sandy Minehan, winner of our 2015 quilt raffle. GFJ has started digitizing parts of its collections. We started with old local newspapers,  a treasure trove of local history and genealogy. The collection will eventually be expanded, but 1855-1915 issues are now available at: www.endicott.advantage-preservation.com
